About the Course

Join artist, teacher and maker Liz Wellby, at The Slipper Studio on the edge of the Peak District and create your own handcrafted Christmas.

If in previous years you have been disappointed with the lack lustre choice of Christmas cards in the shops, why not take a little time out and create something unique for your nearest and dearest?

To get your festive to do list firmly on track, you will learn how to design and cut your own stamps and create beautiful bespoke cards, gift tags and hanging decorations; learn the skills to create further pieces at your kitchen table.

Liz will host the workshop at her home studio. The venue is beautifully presented, with handcrafted workbenches and a wood burner, with views down into the village.

What a wonderfully relaxing day in Liz’s cosy Slipper Studio! Plenty of attention to detail, all materials and equipment provided and excellent tutoring. Despite already knowing how to make relief prints I did learn some new skills and especially enjoyed learning how to make the paper sculptures. We were also treated to the most excellent biscuits and plenty of hot beverages throughout the day! All in all a workshop very well delivered. I would definitely recommend it. Thank you Liz! She had amazing attention to detail and provided copious refreshments. I would highly recommend a course with Liz.
