Clay face planter
Description
In this 3 hour workshop led by ceramic artist Sarah Pink you will create a cylindrical planter using the slab technique. To make it really individual to you Sarah will show you how to sculpt a face of your choice to add as decoration. Its up to you how quirky you want to make it!
Surface colour will be added at this stage with slips and underglazes.
The planters will be left to dry before 2 firings in the kiln.
Your glazed planters will be ready for collection in approximately 3-4 weeks.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and upwards (min age 12+)
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
What's included in the price?
All tools and materials will all be provided, along with brews and biscuits!
All safety equipment will be provided and you are advised to wear clothes appropriate for a workshop setting including shoes rather than sandals.
