Helen was an excellent teacher. She was very patient and explained things very clearly. It was very enjoyable
Although the photography course was outside at Delapre Abbey, she still wore a face mask as social distancing was not appropriate at times. Helen also did a lateral flow test before arriving also, therefore protecting her and myself. I did the same. Thank you
The camera is now no longer on automatic - thanks to Helen
Helen also went sent the extra mile and forwarded to me some course notes on the use of my camera as my memory is not brilliant.
All in all a very enjoyable morning taking lots of photographs. Worth every penny. Thank you
Response from Helen Tisbury Photography:Thank you for your kind review Roger, I am so pleased that you enjoyed the course. I am delighted to hear, that your camera is no longer on auto mode. I am sure you will have many hours of enjoyment taking photos with your lovely camera.
Thank you so much, Helen, for giving me confidence to start shooting in the Manual mode. I've got now a much better understanding of the Exposure Triangle and focus points. I also know which buttons to use to quickly change aperture and shutter speed settings. Two hours packed with useful tips and information. The course notes are an excellent addition to the tuition. And thank you for getting the swans to pose for my pictures!
Response from Helen Tisbury Photography:Thank you for taking the time to review my workshop, I am thrilled to learn that you enjoyed the course and now feel confident enough to now shoot fully manual. With practice changing your settings will become 2nd nature.
Helen told me all about shutter /aperture speed which I could never understand before.it always flew over my head. Now I know all the settings /buttons of my Nikon DSLR and can take better pictures. I have always used auto mode for pictures but now I can do it on manual. I'm very much looking forward to my next bite-size session with Helen.
Good thing is she very calmly tell you each and every detail of what magic your camera can do.
Thank you, Helen
