"I had a wonderful day creating some striking structures with willow. Our tutor explained everything clearly and was very helpful at every stage. The weather was kind and the setting beautiful and relaxing. Our hostess was welcoming and attentive, providing drinks and delicious food and treats. I've been inspired to have a go at home with the willow from my garden."

"As I was new to glass fusing, I struggled with glass cutting on first day, but soon picked it up on second. At the end of the 2 day course, I had learnt, how to cut glass, different types of glass, and what they are used for, and how they are likely to come out when fired. I really enjoyed it and was pleasantly surprised with my end result. Great hosts, in a lovely countryside setting, offering tea, coffee and biscuits with lunch included in the fee. Look forward to improving on my next course."

"An excellent course in wonderful, welcoming surroundings. Very organised, the artist enabled each of us to complete our desired creation, calmly and confidently, when we thought we would run out of time! Excellent lunches provided, with 'on tap' teas and coffee. Highly recommended!"

"I've attended the week long mosaic course 5 times now and it never disappoints! Lovely surroundings, great tuition and never-ending encouragement from Peter, plus the most delicious lunches and teas from Alison - such a pleasure to surrender all your worries and commitments for 5 days and escape to another world and let loose your creativity. The atmosphere is so friendly and fun and yet, somehow, at the end of your stay, you have produced something you probably never imagined you could......! I would highly recommend a visit."

"As a 'newby' to mosaics I first came to Zantium in 2003 and discovered a medium I love working in. The tuition from Peter and the can do attitude he inspires makes each visit a positive experience and I always leave with a wonderful piece of art I didn't think I could achieve. Everyone can work at their own pace and Peter is great at getting you over any design or execution problems. On top of that that the studio is a lovely place to work in and the outside garden a calming place to go for breaks. Ali's wonderful lunches and homemade cakes just add the finishing touches to a truly lovely week. In addition I have really enjoyed the company of all the interesting people I have met on the courses. Can't wait to go back!"

"Having never done any mosaics before I visited ZANTIUM about nine years ago and I was delighted with the experience then and all my visits since. The tutorials by Peter, a very patient, kind and helpful man, are full of enthusiasm and encouragement to create an object that you will be very proud of, plus great enjoyment whilst carrying out your 'creation'. With such a wide array of colourful tiles, etc, you will be spoilt for choice. Lunch time is a must, provided by Ali, freshly prepared, never a disappointment, plus tea, coffee, biscuits and home made cakes, very welcoming breaks during your day to keep your energies up!"
