"What a fantastic day! A great opportunity to try something new. Amazing support with a very patient Anthony who encouraged every step. I was very happy with my reindeer who has so far delighted my two grandchildren and will be on display over Christmas. A great location for a workshop, with delicious snacks and lunch. "This course was amazing! Our tutor 'Lin' was friendly and knowledgeable - making every aspect a joy to learn! The hosts made you feel welcome from the beginning until the end of the day. Refreshments were available throughout with lunch and then mid-afternoon tea with homemade cake! I managed to come away with seven flowers which are nicely displayed on my kitchen windowsill! I'll definitely be booking another course at the idyllic Zantium Studios."

"This is a fantastic introductory course to book binding. The tutor, Holly, explained and demonstrated everything thoroughly. The course was unrushed allowing everyone to progress at a steady pace. I'm happy with what I learned and feel confident in using and building upon the skills taught. The hospitality was also excellent, with plenty of hot drinks and snacks provided through the day, with a very nice lunch and homemade cake in the afternoon. Overall, thoroughly recommended!"

"The 1 day bookbinding course is fantastic! Our instructor Holly used her vast experience in bookbinding and restoration to create an informative and very well paced course. Thanks to Holly's clear instructions and encouragement, I went home with a hardcover note book to be proud of. As if the course itself wasn't enough, to do it at Zantium Studios was a joy. The views are stunning and Allison is a wonderful, warm and friendly host. Allison made sure we had everything we needed, from a wide selection of refreshments (available throughout the day), delicious handmade lunches and afternoon cakes. I'd definitely recommend this course, and will be looking to attend another course at Zantium in the future. Thank you for an amazing day. "

"A very well run course, led by a very enthusiastic tutor Allie. We learnt so much in one day, just can't wait to use it now. "we thoroughly enjoyed spending the day at Zantium studios, meeting yourselves and Anthony, our tutor for the day. who knew we could make reindeer!! we were delighted how everything was organised from emails, parking, drinks, lunch and snack provision. Anthony explained everything clearly and demonstrated how to make the reindeer step by step. a wonderful day with lots of laughs ..... and a reindeer each to come with! thank you so much for a wonderful day!"

"Excellent course with Antony. Very hands on and practical guidance to build a complete 6 foot garden obelisk. It was a great friendly and encouraging atmosphere. We also had time to make a dragonfly stake and a small snail stick. The venue is superb with lovely views, cosy studio and snacks ans hot drinks with sandwich lunch provided. "

"What a beautiful location , surrounded by beautiful countryside ,I enjoyed the whole experience , the willow weaving was taught by Caroline, who was a excellent teacher, I was fortunate to have a small group of ladies all of whom produced lovely sculptures. "Excellent 2 days helped by the fabulous sunshine! The course was well run, allowing each to reach an almost completed sculpture. Alison provided wonderful hospitality keeping us all topped up with food and open access cafe area for snacks and beverages. Caroline was an experienced, calming influence when my creation was looking a disaster, the voice of reason and expertise!"

"Zantium Studios is set in a beautiful location which is made better by the welcome from Godfrey the peacock. Alison and Peter hosted the 2-day workshop beautifully; they are the loveliest people and were available for anything we needed. Ahead of attending the course Alison was on hand to answer all my questions and assured me that they could cater for my gluten free needs. The lunches were delicious as were the yummy snacks, teas and coffees. I attended the 2-day basket weaving class with Eddie Glew. The course lived up to all my expectations and more. Eddie is a great teacher and I couldn't recommend him and Zantium studios more highly."

"Had been looking forward to doing a workshop with Eddy for ages, and was certainly not disappointed! I made a log basket and although not a total beginner felt lots of fine tunings shown by Eddy really helped me up my game. He was so patient and spotted little things I was doing that were not quite there yet, and helped me to work on the correct method to give a much better finish on my basket. Thanks Eddy i will definitely be back! Thanks also to our lovely hosts at the wonderful Zantium Studios, beautiful surroundings, including Godfrey the peacock! And the lovely lunches and snacks. Such a great experience all round. Would definitely recommend!!"
