Design and make your own mosaic. Explore traditional or contemporary approaches using beautiful glass and ceramic tiles. Potential projects include a decorative panel, mirror frame, trivet or house number/name.
An inspirational slide show is followed by instruction on materials and shaping techniques. A design session will help you develop your own creative project in the style and material of your choice. You are welcome to work from your own design or one provided by Zantium. Grouting and finishing demonstrations conclude the workshop.
Open to both beginners and those with experience.

Everyone was so friendly and supportive of the group. An excellent weekend. The food was lovely too!
Very enjoyable course - lovely setting, great facilities/food, very friendly and helpful hosts/teachers and for a beginner I achieved far more than I expected with an ambitious mosaic. The display from the resident peacock on the first morning was an unexpected bonus!
This is the third weekend mosaics course that I have attended at Zantium Studios. They have all been superb courses with excellent tuition and individual support from Peter and wonderful home made lunch and snacks from Alison. The studio has a lot of light, plenty of room to work in and good choice of mosaic tiles. Good relaxing weekend. Highly recommend this course.
As always well organised, thoroughly enjoyed the course and would always recommend Zantium Studios as a great place for courses to attend.
Pure delight to have the opportunity to do some mosaic and be so well supported by professionals in a friendly environment.
Very enjoyable and relaxing weekend with kind and encouraging tutor. Having done a small amount of mosaic making before, my enthusiasm was rekindled. The ambiance and the lovely food all helped towards our creativity and working alongside people of like mind was a pleasure.
Brilliant inspirations, beautiful setting, good food, excellent tuition, resources, encouragement and individual support. I was expecting the course to be good, but it was even better - thank you!
