Jo’s beautiful studio overlooking The Green in Cavendish is the perfect place to be schooled in all aspects of candlemaking. "Just spent the most wonderful day with Jo making a variety of the best candles ever. They are more than on par with the very expensive best known candles! Jo is not only a really warm, lovely, delightful person but her knowledge and willingness to share is truly amazing. I was so looking forward to the day and it excelled in every way. I knew nothing about candlemaking at all but having met Jo and buying her candles at Clare craft show l was so impressed with the high quality and standard that l just had to have a try myself. "I have just got home after an amazing day with Jo. I can’t stop smelling my candles , they smell so good. Jo was so helpful with everything. I have a disability and Jo went out of her way to help. Even walked out to the car with me when it was hammering down with rain and carry my candles for me. Jo’s knowledge is excellent even thou I make wax melts I learnt so much and had so much fun. The day went so fast. Highly recommend this course 11 out 10 . Even had a lovely lunch well worth the hour and twenty minutes drive . Can’t wait to make more candles now. Thank you ?"

"My mum and I had a wonderful day candle making with Jo. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. I loved that we made different types of candles and using left over wax on tea lights was a genius way of maximising our money. You don’t need to make any notes because Jo has it all covered in a handout. Lovely lunch downstairs too. I would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone. It’s great value for money and you come away with so many goodies. I have made lots of candles at home but none have smelt as nice as the ones I made on this workshop. I am super proud of my creations ?"

"What a truly fantastic day! I highly recommend attending this workshop. Its fun, informative, interesting and above all very enjoyable. Jo is not only a wonderful person, she builds rapport quickly and puts you at your ease before imparting a wealth of knowledge borne from her own experiences. You will come away armed with a bag full of your own beautiful homemade candles, a reference sheet full of useful information and a head full of ideas. "I highly recommend this class, it was a 5***** experience! Jo is a great teacher, she's friendly and fun, and makes everyone feel welcome and relaxed. Jo is very generous with sharing her knowledge and tips-and-tricks of the trade, so whether you're interested in starting your own candle business or just doing it for your own personal use, you will come away with lots of information to get started. You will also come away with a bag full of goodies that you make in the class - 3 x glass container candles, tea lights, wax melts and hanging decorations - plus helpful handouts to refer to when you get back home. "Hi Jo Well where to start, I thought it would be so difficult to make candles, but from the start you made me comfortable & confidante in the process & safety of candle making. It was such an enjoyable course it was a shame to end, you covered so much in the time allocated from wax melts to 3 wick candles, decoratios, fragrances that were so amazing & so many to choose from, even more so what we made we took home. Brilliant. So all I can say is anyone thinking of doing your course don't hesitate. Good luck for the future & thank you again for a awesome day, would love to do another course & will recommend you. "FANTASTIC!!!!!!! My best friend is gettting married soon and as her maid of honour the duty of planning her hen party rested on my shoulders. I found this candle making course and contacted Jo to see if she would be willing to acommodate a large group of us (9 in total). To my delight Jo agreed to us taking her course and I'm so glad she did! From the moment we met Jo she was the best hostess you could ask for. Nothing was too much trouble, we were made to feel encredibly welcome and the course itself was just perfect! We were allowed to choose from a very wide veriety of scents and everything you made you take home with you! Drinks were always being offered and lunch was amazing! When it got down to learning everything we needed to know the fun didnt stop. Jo joined in with us in such a wonderful way it made it seem like she was apart of our group for the day! Her knowledge of all things candle is amazing and I couldnt ask for someone better to teach us! We enjoyed it all so much there is talk of us going again in future!"
