"I would thoroughly recommend this course! Jo is a brilliant teacher who creates a calm and relaxed atmosphere, and conveys a huge amount of knowledge which draws on her own real life experience. The ‘lesson plan’ for the day covered a lot of really useful information, but Jo was also extremely helpful in answering any wider questions that we had, and was very willing to share from her own previous experience. The locally made sandwiches and cakes were also delicious, and we felt well fuelled throughout the day! We came away feeling both inspired and equipped! "

"This is a brilliant little course, hosted by somebody that clearly works far too hard. Jo is very passionate about what she does and anybody that is thinking about doing this course, needs to get booking. Good things don’t last forever. Food, tea, coffee and cold drinks are in abundance and you will be well and truly catered for. Everything you need to get you started, in constructing your business plan as well as the basics in candle making will be afforded to you. You will not be an expert when you leave, but you will have the tools to learn your craft. You will leave with plenty of information, pointing you in the right direction to make you successful and I was surprised at how much information Jo yielded about her business. Very few other business owners would deliver this level of open and honest, trade secret sharing. Don’t hesitate, get booking. "

You were very welcoming and very generous with your skills and knowledge. I loved every minute of it from the lovely location and your workshop to the lunch which was delicious, I’m just sad I didn’t try the cake ! I have definitely learnt a lot and more importantly testing which was an unknown territory for me. I love the oil burner I bought and have very much enjoyed the candles I bought for myself too, energise is just lovely. You are very talented Jo. I’ll definitely be back when I’m ready for a 1-1. "I found this course to be exactly what I was looking for, a very professional insight into the nitty gritty of candle making for anyone wanting to sell to the public. Jo was very friendly, and the groups are extremely small, so you get to ask questions and chat as much as you want. It was a really enjoyable day, but very informative...not at all intimidating for anyone with no knowledge of candle making. I would recommend for anyone. Jo is very honest, answers all your questions, and has a wealth of credible knowledge. I searched for ages online looking for a proper candle making course that was not just a hen party style play around for a couple of hours, and have not come across anyone else who offers such a professional course for serious business start ups. I could not recommend more! And the sandwiches and cakes were super too... what more could you ask for!"

I just love candles and did not realise there was so much involved... or that I was doing everything wrong from how I burned them to how I extinguished them!
