"This was such a lovely, warm, relaxing and informative day and with all the incredible scents it felt like a relaxation course. I am really pleased that I signed up for this course, Jo was brilliant. Jo was a very good teacher and was well prepared with everything we needed to hand. Jo happily shared her knowledge and experience as well as a wealth of stories. We seemed to cover so much in one day. We made some fantastic candles and melts which were totally unique as we all handpicked our embelishments and fragrances and got to take them all home! I think this course would be a perfect present for someone! I now feel confident to make my own products and can't wait to get started, initially making gifts for friends and family, then moving onto more saleable products."

"What can I say...so so glad I attended this course! Firstly Jo is lovely, such a warm welcome and happy to share her experience and knowledge completely freely. Personally I had watched every YouTube video, Googled everything I could think candle making related and followed every possible social media group I came across. For me the result was a scrambled mess of ‘knowledge’ with conflicting advice not to mention different countries so different rules!! "When we attended the workshop due to the corona virus numbers were kept low, we were so thankful Jo still ran the workshop for us. What an experience, from the wonderful setting to the welcoming company from both Jo and Blossom is really was the prefect setting to take in the info on candle making. "What a great course to do if you're interested in candle making. I did this yesterday (21/7). Beautiful setting wonderfully friendly Jo and her gorgeous pooch Blossom. Learnt a lot and gave me so much to think about which I hadn't before in regards to legislation and wicks etc and also on top of that left with some great goodies in candles and melts we made that day. "What a great course - I learned so much about the art of candlemaking thanks to Jo and had a lot of fun along the way. Who knew wax has a memory?! We came back laden with beautifully scented candles of various sizes as well as melts and much more. "I attended the introduction to candle making course as a business. Jo was an excellent teacher, really warm and friendly and so knowledgable with everything she taught. Small group sizes means that everyone was attended to fully. There are several important and pertinent safety and legal implications that one should know about if considering doing this as a business. We made a few different selection of candles to take home with a few different choices of scents, these make wonderful gifts! The day was laid back and informal and I can't rave highly enough about the lovely Jo and her assistant all so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this course to anyone, plenty of free parking at the venue with facilities. Lovely area of Lavenham which is so beautiful to visit after the course. Gift vouchers available which I believe make wonderful gifts for anyone that likes crafts. A really enjoyable and fun day, I can't recommend highly enough. Thank you so much!"
