"Really had an excellent day. Jo was lovely, her house amazing and the candle making experience has really given me the bug to carry on learning. Such good value I brought away so many lovely candles etc, which I made myself. I have been a Yankee candle addict for quite a while, but the fragrance from the ones I made with Jo are just lovely. Thank you again Jo for a truly lovely experience. Highly recommend"

"I attended Jo's candle making course as a bit of fun with a friend. I enjoyed the whole experience, Jo's house is amazing and a very relaxing environment to learn a new skill, and her hospitality is outstanding. Jo is certainly very knowledgeable and made the process very straight forward, more so than I initially thought before attending. The course is value for money as you not only come away learning how to make candles but with a bag full of goodies which you have made yourself. I would 100% recommend Jo's workshop to anyone who is thinking of a new hobby or business."

"I attended Jo's candle making day on 10/01/17. It was a great way to start the year! Jo lives in a beautiful home set in the countryside, overlooking a field of highland cows. I explained my goal of setting up my own candle business and Jo was extremely supportive and the course materials included lots of useful information and lists of suppliers etc. The day was very well structured and I went home with a variety of scented candles. I highly recommend Jo's course to anyone who wants a fun day out or is looking to set up a business of their own. Excellent value for money and lunch was lovely. Great Experience!"

"Jo was very knowledgeable and went through a number of different techniques. She explains in a way that makes it easy to remember and gives you a sheet to take away. She suggests good places to get materials from and the benefits of each, she also offers to help via email after the course has finished. Jo has a huge range of scents to add to the candles and lovely decorative things to add too. For your money you get lunch and a lot of materials too to take away, so it is very good value. Jo's house is lovely and the day would make a lovely gift for anyone. I had never made a candle before and now I am confident that I could. Jo also went through a few common problems and ways to solve them. Thoroughly recommend."

"Just got back from a day course at the White Candle Company ....Jo was so welcoming and friendly. No need to take a paper and pen as Jo not only instructed and demonstrated everything she had also written helpful instruction to take away with you. I came away with lots of lovely goodies and a good knowledge of candle making so that I will be able to make candles confidently at home. Really enjoyable day (with a lovely hearty lunch). "I did this course yesterday and it was amazing! Jo is really friendly, fun and engaging. She is very skilled and she is really passionate about candle making. I came away with really good quality candles. We made a variety of candles and melts and Jo had a large selection of excellent quality scents to choose from. It's incredible value for money given the duration and the amount that we made, I was delighted with it. The location is also great as it is in a beautiful barn and the kitchen is just gorgeous and perfect for candle making. Jo made me feel very welcome and she passed on many useful tips in terms of making and also in terms of the business side of things including the latest regulations. She also provided a delicious lunch. I would highly recommend this course. It is worth the journey as the ones in London are often only a couple of hours long and very expensive and you don't come away with much. I now feel confident to get started with my candle making. 10 out of 10!"
