"I made four items today with Roseanne I had a good choice of pieces and also was able to make the piece my own original with Roseanna s help. She is an exceptional tutor. I am so pleased with all four items specially two that I was able to personalise, a passport holder and a card hold for my son and husband. "It's difficult to know where to begin this review as every aspect of the workshop was tremendous! The country setting in a workshop looking out across the fields is idyllic. We were met with a very warm welcome from Rosanna, whose expertise, talent and patience are limitless. My sister and I very happily settled into making our choice of leather and being adeptly guided through the process by Rosanna. We both felt confident under her tutoring and the result was a purse & card holder each which we are both delighted with! This is a perfect course for either a seasoned "crafter" or anyone wishing to dip their toe into craftsmanship. With a brew in hand, the radio on in the background, the company of Rosanna and the immense satisfaction of actually making something which you will use and treasure, I cannot think of a better way to spend a Saturday morning! "I had a wonderful two day course with Rosanna, designing and then creating my very own bespoke bag. Rosanna gives you the freedom to do what you want, design wise - and if you cannot do it (such as the leather is too thick) she will explain why. A talented, patient teacher who gives you as much or as little help as you need. My bag is absolutely fantastic, a one off, in the most beautiful leather with all my personal touches. I am going back to do a half day wallet making course in the Summer! Thank you Rosanna!"

"Late last year decided I wanted to try and make a knife role for my son (who is a chef) to hold his professional knives in when travelling. I researched a little and found a Rosanna Gethin studio. Booking and payment was simple and followed up by Rosanna sending encouraging emails that enabled me to actually plan what i wanted to make. I was a little apprehensive as im not at all 'crafty' . I need not of worried, as I was made thoroughly welcome. Rosanna assisted me to turn my idea into a wonderful reality. I can not believe "I" was able to construct the item I left the work shop with! Rosanna suggested a few extra professional touches which make it look totally amazing. I would highly recomend her. She is a lovely teacher she is patient and encouraging. I found the day to be so fulfilling. My advice if you have an idea for a leather creation, do not delay, sign up to one if her courses! You will be in awe of what she helps you to make!!"

"Yesterday I did a full day workshop with Rosanna and came away with four beautiful items: a gorgeous reddish brown purse/wallet complete with zipped pocket for coins and several slots for cards and larger notes, a lined zipped coin purse with funky design on the outside, a hand stitched card holder for my partner, and a matching stylish and strong keyring. Three of the items are embossed with our initials which makes them really special and looks great! I was amazed at how many different techniques I was able to have a go at during the course of the day and could never have imagined the quality of what I would be bringing home with me - very pleased and proud! Thanks to Rosanna for being so skilled and talented - both creatively and in her teaching style. I highly recommend this course!"

"We were given a one day leather workshop as a Christmas gift and had an amazing day! Rosanna is a delightful and talented teacher. She put us at our ease and made us very welcome in her studio. She showed us a wide selection of useful and beautiful items that we could make in a choice of leathers and gave us time to consider which ones we might like to make. I chose a very soft blue leather and with Rosanna's guidance and patience made a lined, zipped pencil case with a tassel and a matching sketchbook cover. I also made a hand stitched card case and a double sided vanity tray, embossed with a friends name, which will make a unique gift for a special birthday. My husband made a card holder, a notebook cover and a hand stitched spectacles case which he embossed with his initials. We're both so thrilled with what we've made and they'll be put to use with pride. Thank you so much Rosanna - we really have had a wonderful day and we'll definitely be booking again. Edwina Finn"

"I attended a days course with Rosanna, I found it to be a very compact day, learning how to hand stitch, machine stitch, for both material and leather. Learning about using button fixings and studs. It is a relaxed working environment with great hospitality. I came away with a hand stitched card holder, trinket tray and a tote bag. After a day with Rosanna i came away filled with the knowledge and the confidence to now start broadening my horizons for making different leather products. Highly recommend a course with Rosanna. "This was a two day class, I had complete choice of the type of bag I wanted to make. Rosanna set about sketching a bag telling me all the different options I could try, once agreed I helped make my patten. The bag was made out of a leather jacket I picked up cheaply in a lovely burgundy colour. Rosanna suggested adding a contrast leather and a lining. End of day two and I'm the proud owner of a super fab, one off leather bag and I love it!! Rosanna is a gifted teacher and so patient, she really wants you to go home with something wonderful, that you love. Thank you for two brilliant days."

"I am currently a final year Decorative Arts student. I had never worked with leather before, and as I'm planning on producing a leather product for my final degree show - I knew that Rosanna's accessories workshop would be perfect for me. I made a card holder embossed with initials, a purse and a belt. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Rosanna was patient, informative and allowed me to pick her brain about suppliers, tools and leather characteristics. I now know about the different types of leather, colours available, treatments, techniques and all of the possibilities of leather. I went away knowing so much invaluable information and I am very grateful to have found her on Craft Courses. I now feel more confident than ever taking leatherwork on for my final degree show. I highly recommend this course. She has set me up brilliantly for going ahead with leatherwork in my own studio. It was a pleasure to meet Rosanna."

"This week I took my first ever One Day leather course with Rosanna. I wish to say what a fabulous day I had with such a talented teacher. Rosanna was so clear patient with me. We discussed what I wished to make, and on impulse I asked to make a good sized clutch bag I had admired in a shop. In her well equipped workshop I was guided through tasks I thought were beyond me. In the morning I made a personalised glasses case, using traditional saddle stitching by hand. After a delicious homemade lunch I sucessfully made a clutch bag and also a luggage tag. I came away armed with so many tips and stockist information. Thank you Rosanna five-star fun day. Will be back soon."

"This was my second course with Rosanna I have made a hand stitched laptop case and today I made a large size purse with a zip coin compartment and then opens up to the cards and notes I love it, Rosanna it a fantastic teacher whom encourages you to follow your tastes and style in your piece you are making. I'm booked on the handbag two day in October yes I'm addicted its brill. Give it a go great fun!"

"My husband gave me this class as my birthday pressie, it was brill I made a hand stitched laptop case. This was my first attempt at leather work and it turned out fab (even if I do say so myself). Rosanna was a very good tutor and let your own flare come out in what you make. We had a lovely lunch in a lovely garden, so all in all a perfect day. I have already booked leather day number two for next month. Thanks so much Rosanna see you soon."
