"My name is Terry Webb and had the pleasure of attending a Pyrography Workshop at the Lechlade Craft Barn. There were 5 of us attending the workshop with the tutor Sharon. I found Sharon to be friendly with a very easy going and inclusive attitude to the workshop which made it a very pleasant atmosphere to work in. Pyrography as a craft was new to all of us, which worked well for all of us. Sharon was very knowledgeable and relaxed in the way she passed it onto us at the right level. By the end of the workshop we all had produced a piece of work that we all were very pleased with. I would recommend anyone who would like to try a new craft that is a little bit different to attend this workshop. Could you please ask Sharon which sander her husband would recommend, as I found the piece of wood that was provided to be very well prepared? Kind regards. Terry Webb. "

"Last Saturday I completed the Coptic Bookbinding course at Lechlade Craft Barn. It was a wonderful day and I now have my own handmade notebook. I will be coming back to Lechlade Craft Barn very soon to revise my sewing skills and to do some of the many other courses on offer. I highly recommend this course to anyone thinking about it. I now have a new hobby to practice at home."

"A great day out doing something different with a very knowledgeable and approachable tutor. I left feeling very proud of my achievements and with 3 very wearable silver rings. The barn is a lovely light area suited to making, however worth mentioning for those who have accessibility issues access is up some very steep steps!"

"I bought this course as a gift for my mother, and she absolutely loved it. She bought some stained glass she had made home and it was beautiful. This was her first time and although she didn’t feel she was very good, it turned out brilliantly. 10/10 recommend :)"

"This workshop was better than I expected! I thought we'd all be making a drum shaped lampshade, but was happy to find out we were able to choose the shape, size and whether it was for a table lamp or the ceiling. The group of ladies were lovely and as there were only six of us, it meant that we were able to get the individual help we needed as we progressed through the stages of making our lampshade. Karen is patient and took care not to rush us if we were not finished bang on time. I'll definitely be coming back for more workshops in the future. Tea and coffee was provided and even a mince pie. Thanks Karen, looking forward to the next workshop! ☺️"

"What a great workshop and a beautiful location. The tutors were really friendly and explained the processes very clearly, giving us plenty of help to make a range of jewellery. There is a huge choice of beads and items to make your pieces plus plenty of examples to give you ideas of what to make. I'll definitely be back to try and another workshop - there's so much choice!"
