"Exceptional.! Laura is an amazingly talented artist and a lovely lady. The superb surroundings of her studio and the friendly welcome and hospitality (amazing afternoon tea ... so yummy) created a feeling of comfort and calm. Through Laura's encouragement and inspiration I was able to produce a painting that genuinely surprised me. I feel I learned so much in such a short time thanks to Laura's superb teaching methods. I had the most wonderful afternoon and met some lovely people. I was absolutely buzzing and couldn't wait to thank my son and daughter for the best Xmas present - roll on my birthday ... especially as it is a big one! I hope to attend another of Laura's courses soon - just wish the journey wasn't an hour and a half - however it is definitely worth the drive!"

"I attended Laura's watercolour painting day course as a complete beginner. She put myself and all of the rest of the small group of 4 others very at ease, and introduced us slowly to the wonderful world of watercolour. It was a lovely space to enjoy and lots of individual attention was given to all of us. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it to other beginners who want to get an idea of how to get started with watercolour painting."

"Slightly apprehensive attending this course as never attempted lino cutting or printing before, but keen to do something creative. Needn't have worried as Laura is an excellent teacher, and has a beautiful studio which inspires the creative spirit. Lino carving was great fun and completely relaxing and just a lovely thing to do, I will certainly be doing more of this. Produced some nice prints on a range of materials which I was pleased with, and my wife who kindly gifted me the course would like to hang one on the kitchen wall, high praise indeed! Thoroughly recommend Laura and this course to you, a wonderful day."

"Myself and my 13 year old daughter joined Laura for a beginners watercolor day late January . Whilst we like art we are by no means anything other than enthusiastic. The day was well planned and Laura was a very patient and enthusiastic host. We experienced a glimpse into the world of art which we really enjoyed. The days' course was a present to my daughter for her 13th birthday, it was a precious day we shall both cherish."

"I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop. Laura was not only friendly and encouraging in her teaching style but also incredibly knowledgeable and patient. And her home proved to be such an inspiring space in which to learn. I had never painted before in my life and was pretty nervous and apprehensive as to whether I’d manage to pick it up. I needn’t have worried with Laura’s guidance I managed to create something that I was so pleased with and have subsequently framed! I’m now waiting for my own art materials to arrive so that I can continue watercolour painting at home. Thank you for introducing me to a new passion!"

"Having just completed Laura’s Floral Watercolour course I can honestly say it has changed my opinion of watercolours for life. Laura took the time to find out which style of watercolours suited us. She introduced colour mixing and brush stroke styles and we were soon beginning our first pieces. In the afternoon we each chose a different style and I completed my first watercolour I have been truly proud of. Laura was very generous with her 1-1 time and she was attentive to our needs throughout the day. The equipment and materials provided were professional grade, which gave us the best chance of succeeding. Her art space is the perfect place to learn and I have now signed up to join one of her fortnightly tutorials. Amazing to have such a talented artist and teacher on my doorstop. "I came from Coventry as an absolutel beginner but Laura's classes was 100% worth it. I didn't even know if I liked watercolour painting but after this amazing experience I have fallen in love! As an absolute beginner I recently spent a most enjoyable day in her studio. Nice company, with an inspiring, patient and knowledgeable teacher. By the end of the day I had been shown and had followed all the processes and produced my own successful lino prints. All set to carry on with a most rewarding and relatively inexpensive hobby.
