Over the past 14 years I have explored enamelling through experimentation. After first being introduced to it by my mum, who packed me off to Nottinghamshire with a kiln and a box of enamel powders. I then became mainly self taught through embracing the freedom of the kiln.
I’ve expanded on that first box of enamel powders, and now bring in many techniques to my pieces and my teaching.

Kiln fired Enamelling with Katie Sanderson. Full day workshop
"This was an excellent morning and I achieved two nice pieces of jewellery in the time. Katie's tuition was friendly and helpful. I would cheerfully do this course again."
"Katie is an outstanding teacher and this is a fabulous course. So good I’ve done it twice and learnt more each time. I’ve made pieces I’m really proud of and always felt well supported during the processes, enabling me to achieve what I wanted. I will undoubtedly do this course again as I already have ideas of what I’d like to do. "
Katie Sanderson, enamel artist responded:
"Hi Denise,
Thank you so much! Look forward to our next workshop together.
Many thanks
Katie"
"I did a morning enamelling course on 12th July. Really enjoyed the session. I was a complete beginner but Katie's a good teacher, had very clear instructions & was very helpful. There were just 3 of us, so plenty of individual attention. I came away with 3 items I had made and a good feeling of achievement."
"Had a great morning. Quite full on but I came home with earrings, a necklace and a tiny landscape. I will definitely do it again. Thanks Katie. "
Katie Sanderson, enamel artist responded:
"Hi Lisa,
I’m so pleased you enjoyed it. Hope to see you on another workshop soon.
Many thanks
Katie"
