"I did a morning enamelling course on 12th July. Really enjoyed the session. I was a complete beginner but Katie's a good teacher, had very clear instructions & was very helpful. There were just 3 of us, so plenty of individual attention. I came away with 3 items I had made and a good feeling of achievement."

"What a brilliant morning! Katie was great - friendly and welcoming and took us through some health and safety, and then demonstrated some enamelling techniques. We all then went back to our work benches to make 2 orv3 items to take home. It was really absorbing and satisfying. I went home with two pendants and a brooch I had made. I would recommend the course and will be back to do another course. "

"I had a wonderful time at the half day workshop with Katie. She was a great teacher and explained the process really well. The small group ensured we were all able to get advice when needed and had our own space with all the equipment necessary. We all made 3 or 4 items to take home and I found it very addictive. I have booked a taster session including enamelling in December and would love to do another workshop soon."

"I had such a fun and informative day today amid the beautiful countryside of Gloucestershire. Katie is an outstanding teacher - a natural! She was careful to explain about the health and safety aspects and went on to explain the basics, traditional techniques as well as cutting-edge techniques too. She had examples of all the different stages so that we could touch and see, and so that we knew what to expect as we built up the layers of enamel. She carefully demonstrated the different stages in a way that kept you interested and engaged. She was mindful to ensure we were all making work quite quickly and magically ensured there was never a queue for the kiln. She built our confidence in the medium whilst ensuring we were also working safely. In Katie's half day workshop the materials were supplied and she had everyone's work station all organised prior to us arriving with a rainbow array of enamel powders, small glass nuggets and millefiori. There was a wide range of copper blanks to choose from too. Katie was kind enough to allow me to incorporate my own design and guided me in how I might get my desired result. Loved it and booking up again!"

"Just three on this day course, which was ideal for both beginners and those with a little experience of enamelling on copper sheet and foil. Katie is a great teacher and we covered a lot of ground, with both opaque and transparent enamels, wet packing and the use of flux. Katie provided a a variety of copper blanks, all enamels and ancillary equipment and we all made items with which we were delighted. I came away much more confident in my techniques and abilities. "I did this course early July and it was fantastic. There were 4 people on the course and we all went away with a set of beautiful enamelled items. Katie demonstrated the basic techniques, but most of the day is about having a go with Katie there to help and offer suggestions. She is very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. It was a very relaxed and supportive atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to try enamelling, who wants to improve their enamelling or just anyone who would like to try something new."
