"My partner and I had an amazing time glassblowing with Ricky last week! I can't recommend the course highly enough. We were straight into the practical, collecting glass, blowing bubbles and soon adding colour. Ricky was a great teacher and we were able to quickly progress through different techniques. "I purchased this course as a birthday present for my 14 year old son. With just two people on the course, it is amazing what is achieved in just 6 hours. Students are able to progress quickly as when they are not making something themselves, they are actively involved in helping the other person which serves to consolidate what they have learnt. Creative Vibe is based at what can only be described as a delightful setting that is peaceful, relaxing and totally free from any distractions. The course is professionally and safely run by Ricky who teaches in clear and calm manner. His style puts students at ease and they only progress to the next level once each task has been successfully completed. Overall, a thoroughly interesting and enjoyable experience, for both me (as an observer) and my son, who is now eagerly awaiting the arrival of his creations though the post. These are sent on to you a week or so later should you so choose and are great momentos of the day. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this course."

"As birthday presents to each other this year, we decided to treat ourselves to an experience we have both always wanted to try, glassblowing. If you have ever fancied a go, this one day course with the fantastic Ricky Keech at Creative Vibe Glassblowing is the place to go. From the moment you arrive Ricky makes you feel welcome, relaxed and ready for the exciting day ahead. Nothing is rushed, Ricky is a calm and patient teacher. Everything is explained step-by-step in such a way as to ensure you feel confident and eager to 'get stuck in'. As your confidence grows throughout the day, guided by Ricky, you even help out with each others glasswork. We loved the fact that it was just the two of us on the course (this was the main reason we chose Creative Vibe). Ricky has emailed us some lovely photos of our finished pieces (we cannot wait to pick them up), along with some 'action shots' of us taken throughout the day. Will this be the only time we visit Creative Vibe Glassblowing? No. Ricky, we will be back. Thanks for an amazing experience."

"Fantastic day- Ricky is patient, knowledgeable and perceptive ,putting you at ease and picking up on each students tastes, so that your finished pieces feel all the more special. I always wanted to try glassblowing and would strongly recommend this particular course- the teacher is great, the setting is beautiful and the class size of 2 means you get lots of support and challenge. "I attended a one day course for beginners. Ricky was wonderful, he had a calm way about him which dispelled any fears or worries. He was thorough and patient, enjoying the process as much as I was...truly passionate about his field of expertise. The class was limited to two people because of safety (which was of up-most importance in his environment) and ability to really focus on the process with time and attention with each student. The environment itself is beautiful and relaxing, surrounded by lovely countryside. The day went so quickly, I was sad to leave and knew one day I would do the next level up. Ricky posted my objects when they had cooled and had kindly assembled them into one glorious piece. I have such a sense of achievement. Highly recommend you have a go! You'll love the colours and respect the medium of glass."

"Glassblowing is something that i've always fancied trying and with a bit of free time on my hands a friend found the course online for me and I was so pleased that she did. It was only a 30 minute drive each way for me but I would have happily made the journey had it been over 3 hours each way the course was that good. Fantastic day!!! As only 2 people per 6 hour session lots of personal attention from Ricky who is an excellent teacher and made me feel welcome & at ease immediately. The close attention from Ricky allowed us to create an impressive 5 pieces each with the balance between tuition, making your own creations and helping your counterpart [you work in 2's] being perfect. With Ricky's expertise and patience you will be surprised with the quality of what a complete beginner is able to produce on the day, when I have showed friends, family and colleagues at work the finished products they were all massively impressed. Does make you appreciate the sheer amount of skill needed to master this, especially when working on your own [in my case without a professional]. I can't recommend this experience enough. Thanks Ricky!!!"

Completed far more in 1 day then I thought we would and this was largely due to the class size being 2. This made for a more personal day where you actually got to experience and breath it rather then just visit it. "Ricky is an excellent and confident tutor, who explains everything very clearly in relaxed surroundings. With only one other person on the course, the interaction was very personal and friendly. It is a lovely location, even, as on this day, in the pouring rain. It was good to attempt the various techniques, and develop the control needed to make the pieces. There is an intriguing set of specialist tools, and task-specific jargon to match. It was a splendid day, with something unique to show for it at the end: "all my own work " - with lots of help and guidance from Ricky! This was a Christmas present from my daughter - "for the Dad who has everything" and for whom it is impossible to buy a present. But with this she really hit the target - it was an absolutely brilliant day. I thoroughly recommend this course: unusual, creative and very satisfying."

"I booked the beginner's class for my wife and myself as her birthday present, and it was a fantastic way to spend the day! I'm definitely not artistic, and was amazed at what I managed to produce after only a day being taught by Ricky. My wife's eye for colour showed in her pieces, and we were able to combine efforts on an final piece in the afternoon. Ricky gets you straight into the practical side after a safety talk and explanation of the materials, and within the first hour you will have gathered your first glass. Always ready with help and guidance if things go a little unexpectedly, Ricky quickly gets the measure of your confidence, which builds equally as quickly under his tutelage. We could have kept going well into the evening, but all great things come to an end. I collected the results yesterday, and we are over the moon with them. Thank you Ricky for a great day, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Creative Vibe for your introduction to glassblowing."
