The classes are small so that us students have Ricky's almost full attention the whole time. There were two of us on the course and we were involved the whole day supporting each other in the creation of our pieces. "A fabulous day glass blowing, Ricky teaches you in a very clear manner and is very calm which is handy when you are wielding a long pole with molten glass on the end! I made 4 pieces which I am very pleased with, I think next time I will use more colour as the effect I got is quite subtle and I want the next ones to be more vivid. I received my glass this morning and it was all very well packed and very exciting to see in real life. I will definitely be booking another course."

"I was given the voucher as a present off my better half i looked on here to see what course i would like to do and after reading all the good comments left by other people i thought glass blowing that's the one. True to everyone's comments Ricky is one excellent teacher very good in the way he teaches you how to do it. If only i had teachers like him when i was at school i may have gone a bit more. On a serious note if you are thinking of doing glass blowing this is the course to do so. I will be back."

"What a fantastic day! Ricky is a really inspiring tutor and before I knew it I found myself practicing a skill I had only admired others doing before. The pace of the course is just right and by the end of the day I was so pleased to have made 4 pieces that I could keep as mementos of a very special day. Ricky kept things simple to start off with but soon had us blowing glass objects, adding pigments and learning how to use a whole range of tools and techniques. I can't wait to have another go!"

We arrived slightly early to a very welcoming and friendly Ricky. Throughout the day Ricky was very patient and demonstrated his passion for others to succeed in the art of glass blowing. "This was a great course. Ricky makes you feel really comfortable and ensures that you are involved at all times. Considering it was the first time I have tried glass blowing, I cannot believe we produced the things we did including a sculptural piece and a vase. Having quality photos sent to you of both your work and you producing it is a nice touch. Great value for a full six hours which flew by, a memorable day and one I would recommend to anybody."
