"I had the course "Creative Vibe - glassblowing private sessions 9th June. Ricky was an excellent coach, his instructions were clear and concise. Taking you though each part of the process. I would highly recommend anyone who feels the urge to try Glassblowing to go to see Ricky Keech. The three hours just flew by, can't wait to see the fished glass next week. "What can I say, as a collector of glass and having visited glassworks all over the country my ambition was to 'have a go' myself. I can't express strongly enough what a wonderful experience I had under the guidance of Ricky. His instruction was clear and easy to understand, at no time did I feel unsafe while handling the hot glass, something I had been a bit nervous about. I progressed through the various techniques and produced a few items that I am quite proud of. This was something on my bucket list and as an 'old' dear in her 70s the experience was very satisfying , I would reccommend it to anyone. It's never to late to try something new."

"I’ve always been fascinated with glass blowing and was so excited when I was bought a voucher for my birthday. The studio was well equipped and Ricky was an excellent tutor and explained every process in great detail. I made 4 pieces and was given many options for each of them, I made a paper weight, tea light holder, ornament and vase. I can’t wait to be told they are ready to collect so that I can see the final results. If you are interested in glass works and glass blowing this is definitely the course for you and it’s great value for money."

"I booked this course for my wifes birthday as she had said for a while she would like try glass blowing. After looking at available options, the course being offered by Ricky looked like the best value for the amount of objects we would produce. Ricky's facilities were perfect for the group size, 3 adults. We started with an induction and run down of the day so we knew how things would run and then got straight to collecting glass. Ricky guided us through the whole process each time we made something different as well as encouraging us to work together and help each other. My wife and I each made 4 items which we are very pleased with. Ricky was able to give us finishing options after we left and send images of the finished sculptures before they were couriered to us. From pre booking to after delivery, communication with Ricky was quick and clear, and Ricky was highly professional, knowledgeable and passionate about sharing his craft with others. I would highly recommend this course and Ricky as an artist and tutor."

"Three of us recently did the beginner’s glassblowing day with Creative Vibe Glassblowing. It was a fascinating experience and very enjoyable. "Really enjoyed the day course, it took 6 hours and there wasn't a dull moment. Watching the glass melt, form, mix the colours and glow was mesmerising. There were 3 of us on the course and we made 4 items each, we were given freedom over what colours we wanted to use (could pick more than 1 per item) and we were also given the choice of what items to make when it came to the type of sculptures and final pieces we wanted to create; ie a glass baubles, a glass bowl or a vase. Its good to be open minded with whatever you make, the air bubbles you blow into the glass and the heat from the furnace very much determines shapes and sizes. Ricky is very patient and you can tell he enjoys what he does for a living. If your not making your own glass pieces you're helping the others on the course with their pieces which gives a good all rounded experience. Ricky also has showcases of his creations in the workshop which are very inspiring, he is very talented! He got our pieces ready quickly for us, we were able to collect them the week after. Really enjoyed the whole experience and would love to do it again now I know a little bit about what I'm doing!"

"I booked this course as a gift for my husband. I thought it would be fun but I wasn’t expecting to do much. I was so wrong. It was fun (I was right about that) but by the end of it we felt like experts. Each piece we made taught us a new skill so we weren’t just blowing a piece of glass that had been prepared for us but doing everything. I went with the intention of having a few glass objects to give to our families. They are never getting them, they are mine to keep and treasure. Thank you."

"Bought the day course for my partner and myself for her birthday and the day exceeded my expectations. The day is packed full of learning and application. Unlike other courses you get to make multiple objects in increasing difficulty, and even get a choice of different options in the later glass pieces. Ricky was a fantastic teacher, was highly personable and very engaging. My partner absolutely loved this gift and the sculptures we made arrived in the post safe and sound. All in all, I can't recommend Ricky or his glass blowing classes enough!"

"I did Ricky's beginner day in November 2018. It was an excellent, really memorable experience and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants to try glassblowing for the first time. There were three of us on the course and each of us produced three items - a paperweight, an ornament and a bauble or a decorative dish. We all got plenty of hands-on experience with 'gathering' molten glass from the furnace, shaping it, adding colour and blowing it. Ricky got us to help each other so we were kept involved and interested the whole time. I was particularly impressed with Ricky's calmness and patience. There are obviously risks using furnaces and hot glass, but Ricky kept everything really well controlled and totally safe. He created a relaxed and creative atmosphere which was great to experience. He also followed up with pictures of pur creations and 'action shots' from the workshop. I'm now really looking forward to picking up my items - they have to cool for a few days - and showing them to family and friends. I may even sign up for another workshop!"

"Being a complete novice I was nervous about the course....but I loved every minute. Ricky was funny,patient and an amazing teacher. I produced four pieces getting harder each time. I really didn’t want it to end. Nothing was to much trouble for Ricky who took time with each of us to produce a stunning piece of glass work. I have recommended this course to anyone that will listen and if you have never had a go...book this course...you really won’t regret it. I’m hooked on glassblowing now and saving for the next course!!! Thank you Ricky. X"
