"Hi Miranda Thank you again for a really enjoyable course. Your knowledge, skill and patience was fantastic. You had time for everyone on the course. The whole experience was positive at all times providing a real sense of achievement as time progressed. It felt really good to be outside with beautiful surroundings and with a good fun bunch of other like minded souls. At home, Larry, (the lizard as he has now been christened) has been met with lots of oohs... etc., will take pride of place in the house once I have fashioned a stand ! Doh....Do you do a course for that ?"

"I booked the course as a birthday present and we had a fabulous time. We were absolute beginners and Miranda was brilliant, she explained each step of the stone sculpting and the choice of project was excellent. It was a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and Miranda was on hand throughout to offer advice and direction. We left with completed sculptures that look great. We would absolutely love to attend another of Miranda's courses, and throughly recommend them."

"This was a really lovely two days at Hanbury Hall. My wife bought this for me as a birthday present, so I didn't really have any agenda, just enjoyed getting lost in the wood carving experience. I had never done this before, but Geraint was a knowledgeable and sympathetic tutor, and guided us through the course. I managed to produce a passable result, if not up to Michelangelo or Bernini standard. Geraint suggested I burn it afterwards (a finishing technique not a comment on my work!) which has given it a very nice look. Will need a few months for my fingers and back to go back to normal I expect, (despite plenty of coffee and lunch breaks) but well worth the effort!"

There was a great balance of advice and leaving us to try out what we were learning about. Very happy with the finished product. "Well run course with good content and catered for all abilities. There was however no mention that the course was upstairs, with the toilet downstairs. Several of us were of a certain age with some mobility issues. It would be sensible to mention that the venue was not suitable for those with a mobility disability."
