"Quite easy to follow but for beginners it would be very helpful to have more information on sizes. Some other downloads I have had from other companies have a template so the sizes can be checked. Having said this I would still buy again from this company as I get more experienced."

"My friend and I had a brilliant time on the one day course, Gill was so welcoming, helpful, encouraging and generous with her knowledge. The studio space is great with everything you’d need and so much glass to choose from to make your piece. She was also very accommodating of my pregnant friend, and showed her an alternative to using lead when fixing all the glass pieces together. I would definitely recommend taking this course with Gill, you’ll have a great day and come away with a gorgeous piece! "

"Me and my partner had a fantastic time learning from the talented John. Through regular demonstrations, 1 to 1 advice and a keen eye kept on everyone, we got to grips with the new skill very quickly and both achieved something we were proud of. We were well looked after and were offered regular tea breaks, chit chats and an ice cream throughout the day. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would do again - thanks! "

"Last weekend I joined three other willing apprentices for the introduction to box making- two very full and stimulating days. The course exceeded my expectations- expert tuition from Andrew included not just clear instructions but really helpful explanations (how to get the most from machines and hand tools, properties of timber and other materials etc). And it was a very sociable time with opportunities to share ideas and experiences. I went home delighted with my beautifully veneered and inlaid box and excited by the prospect of using the skills to make the next one. Only now do I realise just how many boxes I need!"

"I booked this experience for my wife and I as a surprise for her birthday. Neither of us had ever done this before but we both enjoy watching it on the tv and are always up for something new. We weren’t disappointed. Pat was very friendly and welcoming and explained clearly how and what to do. We each had our own wheel and so made the most of the two hours. She provided just enough help so we didn’t get lost but enough to encourage us to improve and learn. We both enjoyed our time with Pat, felt quite proud of what we achieved and would definitely recommend others to try. In fact we already have passed her details on to friends. "

"We had a fabulous day on the one day course. Jo was fantastic and made sure all participants had an enjoyable day. Help and guidance was always on hand and Jo was re-assuring and encouraging about everyone’s sculptures. It was great value for money and a lovely way to spend the day. Our hares are proudly displayed in our garden and look very much at home. "
