"Jeremy is a patient, clear and knowledgeable teacher with great facilities. We were able to spend all day focusing on a sampler of patterns as a good introduction to loom weaving. I was relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed the day and learned a lot about the basics. I came away with good written information and my sampler for future reference. "

"I recently attended the ‘Blacksmithing for Beginners - Full Day Forging for One’ and had a great day! The course was a wonderful birthday gift and a was a day well spent. I learned a lot and even remembered a few forgotten skills… not that I hadn’t appreciated it before, but there is more to being a blacksmith than just heating metal and belting it with a hammer! Chris’s structuring of the course, with his amiable mentoring and step-by-step guidance, made my experience interesting and rewarding. All-in-all, a great introduction to ‘blacksmith-ing’ - highly recommended."

"Excellent tuition from Kate, explaining the basics of glass cutting and health and safety aspects. There was lots of scrap glass to choose from and we could choose from a template or could make our own design. Kate was very attentive throughout giving good advice, and the number of attendees was appropriate. The workshop was very well organised and we were advised on how to use all the tools and equipment. I would do it again, only wish it wasn't so far away."

"Excellent course. Perfectly pitched for those with all the enthusiasm yet none of the knowledge! We were guided through the woodworking skills of planning, measuring, sawing, sanding, clamping, and finally assembling our chosen items. Lots of experience using a variety of tools which has given me confidence to try further projects on my own. Brilliant tuition in a lovely environment. Many thanks to our hospitable host Sue who also provided us with drinks, snacks and an excellent lunch. Really pleased with my set of shelves!!"
