"We had a group of 5 adults and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 hours with Rebecca. The time was just enough to make our beautiful projects without feeling rushed - but the time did fly by. We had no previous experience of felting. Rebecca explained and showed us how to do the techniques and was on hand to support the whole way through. Her instructions were clear and simple to follow and there was a wide selection of colours and decorations to choose from to personalise each project. Rebecca created a lovely pace to the session which meant the chatting and tea continued to flow. Rebecca has experience working with children and neurodiverse people too and perhaps her teaching background supports the way she structures her sessions. Rebecca has a lovely engaging way of delivering her sessions. We had a super time and really enjoyed meeting her, sharing time together, and coming away with our beautiful felt bowls. Highly recommend."

"Great thing to do at Christmas time. Fun and absorbing, Lots of choices of glass to choose from. Each work-station had everything we needed to do the task. Tutor on hand to ask questions if needed. We made fused glass trees and snowflakes, so can’t wait to see how they turn out, once fired. Would recommend! "

"Spent the day with Joe making a fantastic leather card holder. The lesson was an excellent way to learn some of the fundamentals of leather work whilst producing a truly professional piece. I was happy to find that the course was a challenge and not oversimplified so I had a genuine sense of accomplishment at the end of it. Joe was informative, helpful and kept the brews coming through the day which was needed!"

"Really enjoyed my day learning how to weave a scarf on a rigid heddle loom. It was a small group which allowed the tutor to spend time with everyone. Spent the morning working in pairs setting up the warp yarn on our own looms & then the afternoon doing our own wefting (which was a bit sore on the back!). It was beautiful seeing all the amazing results from a relatively small bit of yarn. I’ve got enough left for a couple of more scarves - which is great as I’ve been given a loom for my birthday! And I gifted the scarf I made on the day so I need to do one for me now! "

"I had a wonderful day with Elizabeth making a beautiful pendant and a separate bead necklace. Elizabeth had created some beautiful clay colours ahead of the course to match my signature colour. She showed me how to blend the clay to get the exact shade I wanted and how to add a gold fleck effect. She answered all my questions about baking, buffing and varnishing the beads. Elizabeth also had plenty of examples of necklaces she had already made, and bead shapes that could be created, so it was easy to choose my own design. She also provided tips on stringing the necklace with the beads and accompanying readymade gold accents. Everything from how to stop the beads falling off the string to finishing the clasp was explained. I ended up with a beautiful claret bead necklace and a similar coloured pendant that I am proud to have made and love wearing. Elizabeth was also a generous host and working in her home studio was a delight. It was a brilliant experience. "

"I did a pyrography course with my daughter recently, and it was such a great day! Bob was a fantastic teacher—really patient and full of helpful tips that made everything feel manageable. He made sure we both felt confident with what we were doing. Dell kept us topped up with drinks and snacks all day and made a delicious lasagne for lunch, which made the whole experience even better. It was such a relaxed, enjoyable day, just the two of us learning something new together. We both came away with pieces we’re really proud of. Would definitely recommend! "
