Make your own leather belt with Cazzy, a qualified saddler.
Description
I'll start by guiding you through the basic skills of choosing your leather and fittings, measuring, cutting, edging, creasing and marking up for holes and stitching. I will then teach you to stitch double handed and how to use your awl and clams, whilst teaching you something of the rich history of English tanning and saddlery. I will keep you supplied with drinks and snacks throughout your time in the workshop! The second half of your time will be dedicated to making your own bespoke leather belt. I have a selection of brass and stainless steel buckles to choose from but If you'd like to make a really special belt ask me about the extra cost of our solid silver buckles made here on site by my husband. What's included in the price?
Personal instruction from a qualified saddler and harness maker, all materials and tools provided. For £5 you can purchase a gift box to take home your hand made belt. Tea, coffee and snacks and soft drinks will be provided
