"I did a pyrography course with my daughter recently, and it was such a great day! Bob was a fantastic teacher—really patient and full of helpful tips that made everything feel manageable. He made sure we both felt confident with what we were doing. Dell kept us topped up with drinks and snacks all day and made a delicious lasagne for lunch, which made the whole experience even better. It was such a relaxed, enjoyable day, just the two of us learning something new together. We both came away with pieces we’re really proud of. Would definitely recommend! "

"This is an amazing kit to do! I was a bit worried that without having a tutor by my side I would be a bit lost with it, but all I can say is don't be afraid to have a go! Jo's video tutorial is brilliant, she gives you so much confidence and makes you feel at ease, it really is like she is standing next to you! I would advise anyone to have a go at this, I am a total beginner and found it such fun and very relaxing. Also super happy with my end result. "

"Jo's facilities, materials, guidance and encouragement made this Slate Mosaic Day a first rate experience. Everything was very well planned within the context of a relaxed social atmosphere. The day was absorbing and entertaining and resulted in some lovely pieces to take home. I couldn't fault the day and am returning in the summer for a two day sculpture course. Can't wait!"

"Had a great day doing this course with my husband. Sue explained everything and was very helpful. We were complete novices but came away feeling very pleased with the results. The course was well organised and we had plenty of time to ask Sue questions when we needed help, despite there being 12 people on the course. The course was a very relaxing thing to do and we both enjoyed the experience. Definitely recommend!"

"Oh wow what a great course that was! Vas took the time to explain both theory and practice clearly. The frames he makes use traditional techniques to achieve a modern design that would be very difficult for the high street retailers to reproduce. There is a selection of both hardwoods and softwoods used to achieve stunning colours and finishing with the frame, and that would grace any work of art, photograph or poster. He is comfortable working with students of mixed abilities from expert to the enthusiastically motivated in his workshop although students will need to prepare themselves for the stair climb to his studio at the top of the warehouse😊 I would have no hesitation in recommending this course to anyone who has an unloved piece of art hidden away in a box or a cupboard. Get yourself booked onto the course and have a go! It just looks so good hanging on the wall Highly recommended. Thanks Vas and good luck "

"I loved this course. There were lots of pictures ideas to choose from our you could take your own. It was a full friendly class but Holly had plenty of time to see to everyone in the class. There were plenty of materials to use and if you didn’t finish, You could take spares with you to complete your project. I stayed on to do the free motion on top of the felting. This was a new experience and it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I had been scared to try it on previous work but I’m now full of confidence to do more after a great session. I would really recommend this both the needle felt into fabric and the free motion on top. "

As a very inexperienced D.I.Y welder I had no confidence in my capabilities at all but Nigel and his very kind colleague showed us not just the basic techniques but lots of 'real world' tips and solutions. The Forge is an Alladin's cave and I would recommend this course wholeheartedly. Brilliant fun!"
