"I really enjoyed the 2 day wood turning course with Anna. She is incredibly knowledgeable and patient and was able to guide me through all the processes and techniques to complete a beautiful cherry wood stool. In addition to the use of the lathe and various chisels you also get the opportunity to use other tools (including a bandsaw, chop saw, drill press and sander). I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys woodwork and would like to try their hand at turning wood."

"Throughly enjoyed this workshop of a Robin in pastels. First time at this venue. Easy to find. Ample parking. Welcomed at the venue. Good space for the activity. I was using pastels for the first time. Warm and friendly tutor was excellent and took us through the process step-by-step. Everyone had the opportunity to ask questions and clarify. Tutor gave lots of advice and tips. The workshop was at a good pace allowing for people to catch up when needed. My only suggestion for improvement is to make sure that everybody has a set of the materials needed as we did have to wait whilst we shared some of the materials. I think it is fair to say we were all impressed at the results from our efforts. I highly recommend this class. "

"Just come back from a very enjoyable few hours making a sea glass picture. There were 8 in the class and it was very relaxed and friendly. Lovely studio in her garden, refreshments and cake provided. The choice of sea glass and other materials was excellent. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back again. "

Stephanie Rampton reviewed: Introduction to Loom Weaving

"I really enjoyed this introductory course to loom weaving. Kendall is a great teacher and I quickly felt able to explore my creativity. The process is tactile and satisfying, and the hours flew by. I have a beautiful piece of fabric now that I wove myself and it sits proudly on a chest of drawers at home. I am hoping to do a follow-on course with Kendall where I can learn more about setting up the loom from scratch. For this introductory course, Kendall sets up the loom for you, so you really can’t go wrong! I would recommend this course to anyone interested in textiles and weaving. It was a therapeutic and enjoyable experience."

The staff were extremely helpful with my Nana's accessibility needs, and everything was explained very well (my Nana was really nervous she wouldn't be able to do the crafts and she was so proud when she made a really beautiful arrangement). It meant so much to me to be able to do this so thank you so much for all your help and helping to make such a nice afternoon for us :)"

With her extensive experience in gilding and teaching, it was a great pleasure to work and learn from her. Estitxu is very inspiring and patiently introduced me to the world of this beautiful craft with a wide range of techniques and creative applications. I am thrilled with the results; I created several pieces to take home. It was wonderful meeting you, Estitxu. I feel truly lucky that I found your course! "

"Fantastic course! Learnt more in 3 hours than I did weeks trying to learn by myself. Would definitely recommend for anyone starting out with crochet!! Has made all the difference and given a big head start. I’m now halfway through making my first blanket! She was very patient and I was sent away with wool and lots of crochet hooks. "

"I received a warm welcome from Tony when I arrived and we got straight into the basics of Mig welding. I was shown how the Mig I was using was set up and best ways to hold the torch correctly . We had a good chat about best technique to use whilst having a go at welding . Plenty of different joints in different positions which kept me busy and the time flew bye. Overall a very enjoyable experience and one I can highly recommend. Thank you Tony for a great. day ."
