Angela Silis reviewed: Mosaics Taster near Exeter, Devon

"I really enjoyed the mosaic course. Denny was knowledgeable and clearly skilled in her artwork and teaching whilst maintaining a casual and friendly session. I left feeling inspired and I felt I had learnt enough to begin practicing at home, which is what I hoped to get from the session. All the tools and resources were provided and the cake was indeed lovely. Thanks Denny"

MosaicXandMe responded:

"Thanks Angela for this lovely review! So glad you enjoyed the workshop and you feel inspired and confident to mosaic at home (which is what I hope for too). Happy snipping! Denny"

"I have never made mosaics before and needed all the help I could get. Lucky for me Denny had it all planned out and made it very easy for me to make something special for my partner. Denny made short work of teaching me the basics and now I plan on creating more mosaics. I had a great afternoon with the coffee and cake making it all the more enjoyable. Thank you Denny "

Iulia C reviewed: Beginners DIY & Home Maintenance Workshop in Preston, Lancashire (1 Day)

"My partner and I had the pleasure of attending a DIY & Home Maintenance workshop with Jo a couple of weeks ago. The day went great, we learnt so much in the space of only a few hours and at the end felt so much more confident and empowered about fixing things around the house. The atmosphere was lovely, Jo was very attentive and made sure that each of us knew how to use all the tools properly with good technique. She also provided tea and delicious treats! I would definitely recommend Jo's workshops to anyone who is wanting to broaden their DIY skill set and become more self reliant. She is an excellent teacher! 😊"

Janet Fearn reviewed: Natural soap & cosmetic products workshop

"Brilliant day in such a quaint gorgeous little shop/craft venue which smells divine. Julie and her assistant were so attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. I booked the course for my 13 year old granddaughter as a birthday treat and she thoroughly enjoyed herself and was amazed at being able to produce her very own soap and cosmetics. Her parents said she talked about the experience none stop when she got back home which was refreshing in itself. The lunch/afternoon tea was excellent and very nicely presented. I think the value of the products we left with almost exceeded the cost of the course - no added material costs! "
