"Brilliant workshop - the studio space is amazing and I received a lovely warm welcome from Liz. Liz managed the workshop at the right pace with plenty of time to experiment with our work. She was always available for advice and suggestions if needed. It was very satisfying to be able to bring home lots of Gelli prints - I felt as if I had achieved something inspirational because this workshop gets you to think about colour combinations, layering colour etc. I feel re-motivated and will hopefully be able to transfer what I have learned into my glass fusing."

"Everything is perfect at The Slipper Studio the excellent location, the spacious well equipped studio, the warm welcome and the extremely high standard of tuition and attention to detail delivered by Liz. We spent a great day learning how to Gelli print with lots of time for practicing the skill and creating some lovely pieces. A fun and relaxing day."

He will draw you in with his easy charm and good nature. His laid back manner will make you drop your guard. His wise insights and perceptions about all manner things will warm you to him. His amazing, deft skills with a knife and an axe will beguile you and before you know it you will be trapped; captivated; enchanted. Spend a day in the woods with Tom and at the end of the day your arms will be aching with sore muscles you never knew you had and you will go to bed dreaming of facets, figures and froes. Your hands with itch to get back to your spoon an whittle away. You will be bewitched. They say in every piece of wood there’s a spoon waiting to be released; in every person there’s a spoon carver waiting to be set free; Tom’s the man to do it."

"Myself and my husband Chris were complete spinning novices when we arrived at the Spinning Barn, but with Theresa's expert guidance (and endless patience!) we were able to come away each with our very own skein of hand spun wool. Theresa was so welcoming to us; she made the whole process look effortless and her passion for her craft was quite infectious. We also got to meet her clearly beloved sheep who all bleated in unison when they saw her! A lovely way for these two London townies to spend a day in the Norfolk countryside and I would highly recommend this course."

"We attended the course on Saturday 8 June, 2019. We had had to cancel the one we were initially booked on in May due to illness but Jools kindly swapped us to a later date. The venue was very easy to find, the cottage was absolutely lovely - a fantastic place to do all that Jools and Janet do. Jools and Janet really friendly, nothing was too much trouble, they shared their ideas and experience. The learning opportunity was fantastic - lots of information and hands on experience and you got to keep the candles and wax melts that you made. Everyone really friendly, a relaxed and informal environment and quite therapeutic. We had a lovely afternoon tea served to us. All in all, I would strongly recommend this course. Absolute value for money and had a great time."

"I really enjoyed this course with Helen who is an excellent teacher and is obviously an expert in her field. Helen demonstrated the screen printing technique to us and was then available for help and advice. There were lots of examples of her beautiful work for ideas and inspiration and lots of beautiful coloured paints to choose from. I found that there was plenty of time to make the design stencils and to use them to produce two coasters /or decorations without rushing. I would recommend this course to anyone who likes crafts and wants to try something different. I'm looking forward to getting my coasters back in the post."

"Wow! What a wonderful day! Cat is an amazing teacher, who went above and beyond to make the class informative, interesting, friendly and fun! Cat's demonstration was easy-to-follow and understand, and when we were making the soap, she was so patient, kind and supportive. (She has an absolute wealth of knowledge about soap making, herbs and natural skincare and was more than happy to help everyone out and answer any questions we had!) The soap we made smells absolutely divine, and I love that it's made with natural, vegan ingredients! Thank you so much for such a beautiful day.
