About the Course

This 1-day course will introduce learners to the basics of welding. The course shows you how to set up and safely use a MIG welder. The training will involve producing 5 different types of joints using a variety of metals. You will then apply your skills to produce a small metal coffee table to take home. You’ll also have the opportunity to try Arc and TIG welding.

This course is ideal for beginners with little or no experience.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

The course will include lunch, refreshments and materials and the relevant PPE required for welding

(Steel toe cap boots are available to hire for free but we do recommend that learners bring their own if they have them).
