About the Course

Learn how to cleave and shave wood using traditional techniques, and have a go at turning legs or spindles on a pole lathe. No tools or previous experience is necessary. Over 18's only.

Your tutor for the day will be Isis Rowan ; a highly skilled and experienced chair-make and the course is run in the beautiful setting of Court Wood ; an 11 acre ancient woodland belonging to Llanvihangel Court and managed entirely by the dedicated volunteers of The Crucorney Environmental Group.
