Having painted with watercolours for many years, I approached the workshop with more than a little apprehension. How could one paint with wool? Would it be possible to complete a landscape in five hours? My worries were unfounded. Raya is an excellent teacher with endless patience and encouragement. I learned how to build colour and texture using fine Merino wool and completed an autumn landscape which was beautifully framed ready to take home.
Many thanks, Raya, for giving me the confidence to pursue this addictive hobby.
A further workshop is on the cards.

Thank you very much for you review. I am glad you have enjoyed my courses and you are now producing some lovely Art work. I look forward to seeing you again at my next online course with you. Raya
I was a little unsure about doing interactive art online as I have never done this before. Raya was brilliant as she explained everything so simple to me as if I was at her workshop in her art and craft studio. I thought initially I wouldn't enjoy this online experience as I'm a very much a people person and love being with other people in a workshop environment where we can have a joke and get to know each other. Doing an online Zoom course was surprisingly a great experience as I have met new friends and with Raya's easy to follow instructions I can still do the art I love.
Magic Wool Art and Craft Studio:
Thank you so much for your comments! I am happy that you enjoyed my interactive course on zoom and found some new like-minded friends through my course. Good luck with your art projects and I look forward to seeing you again on zoom at our interactive online art classes.

I enjoyed the online Art and Craft Zoom course with Raya so much that I have recommended my wife and sister to attend the next course. I have not done art for years but with Ray's expertise I got up to speed quickly. I will be keeping an eye on any other courses she may have be running in the near future.
What a great course! I have just learnt an amazing new technique of painting with wool fibres. This is going to become my new hobby as it is so therapeutic, enjoyable and addictive! I fell in love with this new way of painting with colourful strands of wool and creating amazing new textures and effects! Thank you to the wonderful tutor Raya Brown who posted the kit to me and carefully explained the the process of wool painting using clear step by step online demonstrations and inspirational ideas.
I thought the course was great with brilliant bright colours and a picture that I can give to my mum for her birthday next week. Raya has a way of putting people at ease and giving me the confidence I lacked before the course. I would certainly recommend the course to anyone who wants to try and create a picture with wool fibres.
I have recently attended Raya's interactive online wool painting course. I always wanted to learn wool painting but never had a chance to come over to Raya's studio as I live far away. I am so glad that Raya offered me the chance to learn this exciting wool fibre art and craft over zoom. I experienced other techniques working with wool but this new way of using wool fibres became very interesting and enjoyable. I really liked the therapeutic experience of playing with different natural fibres creating some images and textures. Raya was very helpful and encouraging. She also sent me the wool painting kit with all the tools and materials so that I did not need to search for various things for the course. I love my finished wool picture very much. I can recommend this course to anyone!
I had such a laugh with the people attending the workshop and the time passed so quickly that it was a fantastic day. I have never used Zoom online before and with Raya's support I was able to navigate the functions of Zoom. My wife loves poppy fields and I decided to create this fibre picture for our anniversary. I have made a wool picture that my wife couldn't believe the beautiful colours, and how the picture was formed and fixed into a frame. My wife likes the picture very much.
I am proud of what I have achieved at Raya's interactive workshop with live tuition and I would recommend this course to anyone.
