Description
I am happy to invite you to my London studio for short individual or small group workshops/courses on how to make leather bags and other leather accessories. You can make a pretty leather accessory for yourself or as a handmade gift for loved ones. Please, see 'More from this maker' for the full range of available workshops. All items can be personalised. This simple leather belt bag / cross body bag workshop for 2 people is a wonderful introductory class. The finished bag is approximately 9cm x 15cm x 2.5cm. The half-day workshop is a good way to get an introduction to essential leatherworking techniques. This workshop is only for 2 people. It is a great fun session for families and friends. You can purchase it as a creative birthday gift or a special occasion present. During this course you will be able to apply and learn the following techniques: - How to cut leather pieces and punch holes for stitching; - How to attach rivets and sam brown, d-rings, snap hooks; - How to paint or burnish edges; - How to do saddle stitching; - How to make a simple leather strap. Please, note: a belt is not included. Please bring yours to ensure the correct fit for your belt bag. Duration: 3-4 hours. Time/Date: Our workshops are available on most weekdays and Saturdays between 10:30-20:00. If you have specific suggestions regarding times/dates, please, message us, and we will try our best to accommodate your preferences. What's included in the price?
The workshop fees cover leather for a bag and other required materials for 2 attendees. Belts are not included, please bring your own. Tools are provided for students to use.
