This course is great for beginners to learn basic silver-working techniques, and you will go away with a solid silver bangle and a copper bangle that you have made! The 4 hour session takes place in the workshops of Bigbury Mint, which is in Ermington, near Ivybridge, in the heart of the South Hams area of Devon.
Courses normally run on Saturday mornings 9pm - 1pm. We can take group-bookings at other times as well, and these can be tailored to your needs.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
All tools and materials are provided. Turn up ready for a 9am start with clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, and shoes suitable for a workshop (not flip-flops, sandals or open-top shoes). Long hair must be tied up and please bring reading glasses if you use them.
Full payment for the course will be taken at the point of booking confirmation. Please note that full refunds can only be given with a minimum of 30 days notice. If the notice is less than 30 days, you will not receive a refund for this course. We retain the right to refuse entry to anyone who is aggressive or under the influence of drugs, including alcohol.
Covid – 19 Secure Statement
Due to Covid-19 we are currently limiting the courses to 10 people. You will be required to wear a face covering. Our workshops are socially distanced in our working Mint. Tools are sanitised before and after use. There will be a quick informal chat about sanitising on arrival. Unfortunately, we cannot offer tea and biscuits on arrival now, you are advised to bring a flask.
If you have Covid-19 symptoms, please DO NOT attend the workshop. Please phone to let us know and we will offer you a place on the next available course.
