Needle felting is a process using barbed needles to mat woollen fibres to felt. Once felting is complete you can either hand embroider or machine embroider on top of the felt to further enhance your design. During the session you will work on creating a picture - you may not complete the picture during the 2 hours but you will be well on your way to creating a beautiful piece of art. During the course Virginia will demonstrate machine embroidery using dropped feed dogs.
What's included in the price?
All materials included but you will need to bring threads - including embroidery threads if you have any, embroidery needles, scissors and any pictures that you have for inspiration - although Virginia will be bringing a good selection. If you have a sewing machine which you can drop the feed dogs on, you may wish to bring that too. Refreshments provided
