A super day in a lovely setting at Talton Mill.
It is always nice to spend a day with like minded people.
Michele is such a helpful and encouraging tutor and everyone goes home carrying their finished items. This was my third day spent with Michele and I would recommend her craft days to anyone.

Excellent tuition with everyone getting assistance. Michelle is friendly and approachable. We all got to make what we wanted and go home with a nearly complete piece, with the necessary supplies and knowledge to finish it.
I took my finished piece to work today and people have asked for Furzie details so they can book a place on a future course.

I have learnt so many new skills and techniques of this course

A really lovely day in lovely surroundings. Expert, friendly and relaxed tuition which enabled me to create a truly characterful hare to take home and enjoy. Thank you Michelle. I can't wait to come and do another one!

What a lovely way to spend the day with my Mum!
It was a nice friendly group of people. The teacher was very good, she helped fixed our occasional mishaps and encouraged us all with lovely comments. The venue was excellent with lovely staff and delicious refreshments throughout the day. Neither me or Mum had ever done any felting and I was amazed at the results. Even my 14 year old daughter said WOW! She couldn't believe I had made it. She should have seen some of the others! Highly recommended. Thanks Michelle.

Another brilliant craft day, such a lovely setting at Lapstones to spend a day, with a scrummy lunch to break the concentration. Michelle is a super tutor, so relaxed, letting us enjoy ourselves while giving us tips along the way and just when we feel we have made our pieces Michelle gives them that little twist which makes them come alive giving them a character. Can't wait for another opportunity to meet up with like minded people another day.

I had a really lovely day at Lapstone. Michelle is an excellent tutor and I was able to produce something I never thought I would be able to do. I had a day where I completely lost myself in the craft ... total relaxation and escapism. Thank you. would love to do another sometime.

My first craft course ever and it was really fun. I felted a hare which I adore but which unfortunately gained the name "snot" when at home as it was discovered that you could put your finger up his nose; a design fault easily rectified although the name has stuck!
The day flew by! :) I thought I wouldn't get anywhere near finishing but I was wrong. The course gave me all the skills and confidence to easily make a few final touches and adjustments when I got home . I found out that it is impossible to go wrong felting, absolutely any mistake is easily and quickly mended. I can't wait to get more wool and try to design another creature.
Michelle was very friendly and patient and has given me a new hobby which I think I will love. Thank you :)

A brilliant day with a brilliant tutor.
A lovely location at Lapstones with customers mingling, such a good way of promoting the class.
We began the day with a welcoming coffee and time to meet others on the course, at 12.30 we were served with a delicious lunch.
Everyone managed to make the animal of their choice with the superb guidance of Michelle.

I loved it. I loved the way that Michelle brings a total relaxing atmosphere to the workshop with no judgement and just constructive help and encouragement.
I have learned a lot and really enjoyed sharing this experience with the rest of the group. The group is not too big which allow for some nice exchanges with others during the day.
I am going back to another one as it was a real treat to be part of this workshop and to be really proud of my achievement.

Once again at Lapstones, I had a lovely day with Michelle's expertise & great company.
Michelle is so good at making you at ease & making a difficult problem so easy to do with her help. Every one of us went home fulfilled with our hares finished & full of motivation for the project.
Looking forward to the next time

Just fabulous! I was lucky enough to win a voucher towards one of craft courses courses (thank you for my prize!) and having looked at every one available, chose this. It was an excellent choice... the location (delicious food and more lovely people), the materials but most of all the tuition and encouragement were brilliant. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and a new furry friend to bring home. Thank you Michelle for an outstanding day!

No artistic ability or craftsmanship!! Came home after a very enjoyable and interesting day with a lovely little dog for my grand daughter! The first comment from my husband where did you buy that it looks just like Flo! Did not believe I had made it - thank you Michelle!!
Jane Twynam - - #6198
It was a lovely day. Michelle is a great teacher and even I (not at all artistic) made a lovely hare, which I was proud to take home. It has had some good reviews from family and friends and I will definitely be doing more in the future. Thank you Michelle for all your patience and help.

We went as a family group, myself and two daughters and we all had a fab time learning something new and having a girlie day out as well! Might even have a go at home with the skills we have learnt.

What a brilliant day! I'm a complete craft klutz but Michelle was so patient, encouraging and skilful that by the end of the day I was thrilled to take home a delightful Herbert the Hare. Everything about the day was wonderful - choice of location (the very lovely Lapstone shopping centre), refreshments, company and of course the felt-knitting. Never done anything like this before and found it very absorbing and satisfying. An outstandingly enjoyable day. Am looking forward to doing more of Michelle's courses and will encourage my friends to take part as well.

I spent a really enjoyable day on this course at Lapstone yesterday. It was the second time I have attended one of Michelle's courses (last one 5 months ago) and I learnt as much the second time as I did the first! Once again, I came away with a lovely felted friend, this time a hare. Excellent value (discount for second attendance!) and sooo therapeutic! No artistic ability needed (lucky for me!) as we are taken patiently through each of the stages. Highly recommended.
