Wherever you are in the country, you can now learn how to rag rug with one of the UK's rag rug experts in our new Ragged Life Live Online Workshops. Have fun turning old t-shirts and forgotten favourites into recycled works of art with the age-old skill of rag rugging. This 1.5 hour workshop is designed for those who have already learnt the basics of rag rugging, but would like to improve their rag rug design skills. We will learn how to use different fabrics to best effect, choose colours, where to begin a design, how to vary techniques to create interesting designs, plus more. Our rag rug teacher, Elspeth Jackson, is one of the leading rag ruggers in the country. She is one of the expert teachers at the Knitting & Stitching Show, has had a rag rug book, "Rag Rugs, Pillows & More," published on the subject and is a regular in craft magazines - you'll be in very good hands!
