Covid compliant. I have some comfy, easy to breath in masks available. social distancing observed. Everything disinfected.

This is a relaxed and fun day suitable for beginners or improvers. No need to be artistic as I provide a choice of designs so that you can get started straight away without spending precious time wondering what to do.

Beginners will start by experimenting with the tools and mark marking and then get straight on to the design. During your time with me I shall pass on a wealth of advice and information re best, tried and tested products and equipment and techniques so that you can get the best results. You will get the opportunity to test out the best Pfeil cutters.

The morning will be spent cutting the lino and the afternoon printing. I have a wide range of colours in a good quality ink so that you can experiment with mixing colours to make the design your own. Groups are small (4 max) to ensure that you will get individual attention.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

All materials and use of equipment. Pre prepared designs to trace through. Tea and coffee and home made cakes/ biscuits will be provided. You will need to bring your own lunch.

I did the Lino printing course and it was fantastic. Tamar is a great teacher and made the whole process seem really easy. It was a good introduction to Lino printing and we made several prints on the day. I would recommend this course if you want to give Lino printing a try...but beware, it is addictive.
