About the Course
A great one day course to introduce cutting and printing linocuts. Please bring a sketch or drawing to use as a starting point. Students will be guided by Steve Duffy in his Sussex studio, through the process of making one of their designs into a printable lino block. I really enjoyed this course. The venue is set in beautiful surroundings and Stephen is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic tutor. I learned a lot and have gained confidence to continue developing my skills at home. Thank you.

This is a wonderful day class for novices, under the expert and patient guidance of Stephen. The studio, in a beautiful rural setting, seems itself to encourage creativity, and there are many examples of Stephen's work all around to add inspiration. An added bonus is the warm hospitality of Stephen and his wife. I hope to be able to go to his card making class later in the year.

Really enjoyable day learning the basics of lino cutting and printing. The atmosphere was relaxed and we were made very welcome. As well as making prints from our own designs I was really inspired by Stephen’s own work hanging in the studio. Would highly recommend this course!

An excellent introduction to lino cutting. I attended with a group of friends and we throughly enjoyed ourselves. Came home with a folder full of prints and inspiration to continue at home.
