About the Course
A great one day course to introduce cutting and printing linocuts. Please bring a sketch or drawing to use as a starting point. Students will be guided by Steve Duffy in his Sussex studio, through the process of making one of their designs into a printable lino block. Basic techniques will be covered, including mark making with various tools, how to use ink, rollers and paper, as well as hand colouring. We will also cover printing with and without a press.
The course will only run if there are a minimum of four students. If there are not enough to run on a particular date, I will endeavour to contact any booked students as soon as possible.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?

An excellent introduction to lino cutting. I attended with a group of friends and we throughly enjoyed ourselves. Came home with a folder full of prints and inspiration to continue at home.

I truly enjoyed the course. It is perfect for beginners like me, as plenty of advice and support is given. Stephen and his wife have been great hosts and the atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed. Highly recommended!
