It used to be a coat! This upcycled tote bag is perfect for a shopping trip or a weekend away. It is made from light brown soft leather and the inside colour is light brown suede. The strap is made from the coat's belt which has now been recycled and the front pocket used to be the coat's pocket. There is a pattern on the leather. Width of bag 35cm Height of bag 39cm Length of each strap 62cm in total Bottom width 5cm Unlined - natural light brown suede Only genuine leather is used and therefore the texture of your product may vary slightly. All products are individually handcrafted using the finest leathers and the leather has not been corrected to wane its nature and its natural ageing will assume a classic worn look. Each product is, therefore, by its very nature, a limited edition. I describe the colour as accurately as possible but the colour may vary in accordance with your computer screen calibration.
How this was made
This tote has been made using leftover leather found sustainably sourced. It is sustainable, recycled and repurposed!

I run classes which have been featured in Country Loving and Breath magazines. These take places in my she-shed in Twickenham and range from Christmas wreath making to cyanotype printing – “nature's printing press”. As a result of the pandemic, I’ve also started selling DIY creative kits so that you can try these crafts out in the comfort of your own home. It’s been gratifying to see these becoming so popular – my Christmas bauble kit appeared in the Metro and The Sunday Telegraph.
