Level 2 Advanced FURNITURE PAINTING Skills Workshop Intermediate/Advanced (1 Day) - Cheshire

If you know a little about furniture painting and you'd like to advance your skills further, I'd love to welcome you to the next level of furniture painting and restoration at this one day workshop (10 am to 3 pm) in the relaxed and friendly environment of the gorgeous Grappenhall Heyes Walled Garden, Warrington, Cheshire. Spend the day in the bright and airy schoolroom and glasshouse whilst looking out onto the spectacular gardens. On sunny days, we can get outside! The workshop is ideal for people who have a basic knowledge of furniture painting, or those who have attended my Level 1 workshop previously. I will teach you more advanced and creative painting skills/techniques including moulding, glazing, raised stencilling, decoupage, blending and metallic/leaf foiling to help you continue on your upcycling journey. With such a small group, there is plenty of time for one to one discussion and I will teach you all I know! I will be there every step of the way to guide you and to provide advice and ideas for some really creative results. Full workshop notes will be provided and will include a full explanation of all the tools, materials and techniques used. As you will know if you have attended one of my workshops previously, you won’t just leave with a new skill, but you will hopefully experience another really lovely day out from your busy schedule and pressures (with lots of chats, laughs, coffee and cake!). You will hopefully make more lovely new friends and hopefully, be once again inspired to continue with your ongoing creative endeavours. Please see all of the lovely reviews from other attendees. If you have any questions in advance of booking your place please scroll to the bottom and select 'message the tutor,' if you would like to proceed to book your place please select 'see available dates' at the top of this page. I look forward to spending an enjoyable and creative day with you!

Lunch is not included in the price, however on most days, delicious afternoon tea or lunch can be enjoyed in the gorgeous adjoining glass house Ape Bars Cafe overlooking the amazing gardens (please let me know if you would like lunch in the cafe as I will need to book you in at the moment), or please feel free to bring some lunch with you which can be eaten in the workshop or in the beautiful gardens.
