You will have a choice of items to make from a picture in rustic wooden frame, hair barrette, wrist band or business card holder and will ~
- get to try all the tools you need
- be taught their function and adaptability
- learn how to prepare the leather
- find out how to transfer the pattern
- carve and tool your design
- apply colours and finishes
- how to care for your tools
There is also the option of buying your own starter kit with everything you need to practice your new found skill.

As an experienced leather worker I wanted to expand my repertoire and Slim did exactly that. He was extremely knowledgeable in his craft and aimed the training at just the right level. A challenging day as I picked his most difficult design to carve but well worth the effort. Thoroughly recommended to all levels of experience. Comes with the added bonus of lovely accommodation on site - you have to be quick to book up though as it is extremely busy all year round!
