About the Course

Try your hand at the art of Japanese Stab Binding.

Based at Radbrook Green Community Centre, Shrewsbury, classes are small and friendly with a maximum of 6 people.

Suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some bookbinding knowledge, this is an introductory workshop to the lovely style of Japanese Stab Binding, in which you will create a unique hardback notebook, from scratch, with your choice of bookcloth and patterned paper.

In addition to making a notebook you will have the chance to practice several different sewing patterns, which you can use in your future projects.

All materials and equipment are supplied, along with the very essential tea, coffee and biscuits.
