This class was real value for money. Marion was an expert and attentive teacher and the day just flew by. We all came away with some beautiful little books and loads of ideas to take things further. Tools and equipment were all supplied for use on the workshop, and Marion also gave us details of suppliers and recommended books on the subject as well as providing the opportunity to buy tools to take away. Lunch was good, and there was plenty of tea and biscuits to keep us going.

I really enjoyed the workshop - getting the chance to learn techniques of bookmaking in such a friendly and supportive environment was great. Marion is a good teacher, pays attention to detail and ensures that everyone taking part is able to participate fully in the experience. And we all left with gorgeous notebooks and the experience of making them from beginning to end. Very satisfying!

Marion’s course was fantastic.
She is a great teacher, very patient and informative.
She packs a lot into the course and you learn so much and go home with some lovely books.
I would recommend this course, no matter what your previous experience or ability.

I attended this course some time ago and have to say it’s the best and most informative workshop I have been to. Marion, the instructor, is very generous of her time and knowledge, making sure that everyone understands what they are doing before going on to explain each and every step. You come away with some lovely notebooks and a feeling of pride and satisfaction with what you have made. Well worth attending and can’t wait to learn more techniques.
