Description:

Designed to give those new to Green Woodworking a taste of a variety of the skills and techniques that are used when working green wood, these form the backbone of the craft of Green Woodworking.
During the 2 days you will undertake:
• How to use a Shave Horse
• Introduction to Pole Lathe - get you started on some turning.
• Make a Green Oak Stool
At the end of the weekend you will be able to take home all of your projects - hopefully a completed stool!

What's included in the price?

All tools and equipment are provided.
REFRESHMENTS: Tea and Coffee from our Kelly kettle is on tap throughout the day. We provide a simple but hearty lunch for everyone from freshly baked bread, Yorkshire soup and local ham.
WHAT TO WEAR: Dress for the outdoors with sturdy footwear, although we have shelters in the woodland this is Yorkshire and the weather can be rather chilly at times
CAMPING: Is free. It is basic with toilet and wash facilities in our woodland and a pub within walking distance..
