Thoroughly enjoyed this weekend of jewellery making. I had never done it before but was amazed at what I was able to create and produce under Lucy's excellent tuition. The whole setting and environment are a lovely space to learn to make silver jewellery under her diligent patient guidance. Great experience and great value. Thank you

I was given this course as a Christmas present and wow!
Lucy made everyone feel very welcome and had a lovely style of teaching her craft. She taught us various techniques such as using and threading hacksaws, cutting copper and silver, bending, making stacker rings, pendants, earrings, warming metals to make them malleable, soldering (different types for different adhesions of metals, how to calculate ring sizes prior to making, how to use power tools, sanding techniques, oxidising techniques etc.
To be honest, at times I felt like a kid in a sweet shop as I came away with stacker rings, earrings, pendants, a wider barrel type ring and I made them all myself.
Lucy also provided a lovely lunch on both days.
This course is exceedingly good value for money and makes a wonderful gift.
I now have some skills that I can practice at home and make gifts for other people and myself.
Thanks, Lucy you're a star.

Lucy is an excellent teacher; patient and very knowledgeable. I had a fantastic weekend learning many skills in jewellery making and as a complete novice, I am amazed at what we achieved in just a weekend. I have several beautiful pieces of jewellery to add to my collection, which are so special as I made them myself. Everyone on the course was lovely, the studio was great and the lunch and homemade cakes provided were superb. I'm so pleased I attended this course and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone with an interest in silver jewellery making.

Intensive Beginners' Silver Jewellery weekend:
I had a great weekend making my own silver jewellery in Lucy's studio. I cannot believe how much progress we were able to make in a weekend, I have learnt so many new skills & have come away with some beautiful pieces of jewellery.
Lucy has created a lovely studio environment to learn in - It's bright, well equipped & a really welcoming space.
I cannot recommend this course enough & cannot wait to book onto my next one!

Brilliant course! I had a great time over both days and learnt so much. Lucy is a very good teacher and explained each step clearly whilst still allowing the students scope for creativity. I left feeling confident about what we had achieved and am already looking forward to booking my next course.
