The Oak Leaf and Acorn Scoop! A unique one off usable piece of Wood art Inspired by the magnificent Old English Oak Trees. Entirely Hand Carved using traditional methods of axe and knife only. Made from naturally fallen Sycamore wood which has been well Seasoned. Finished in a natural blend of oils. Designed for use as a coffee Scoop but could be used for scooping anything such as sugar, flour, tea or alternatively it would suit as an eating spoon! A Beautiful Piece of usable Nature art that I'm extremely proud of making
How this was made
This was made entirely by myself using a spoon knife and carving knife. This piece is completely unique and one off and took hundreds of hours to carve by hand.

I started carving in the winter of 2018 and have absolutely fallen in love with this traditional Wood craft. I started carving just as something to do in the long winter evenings sat by the fire in my canal boat on the canal and have carried on ever since deepening my knowledge and skills in the wood craft. Unlike a lot of modern day carvers all my wood carvings are done by hand using just an axe and two different knives, the wood I use is all naturally fallen, I never cut anything down to use.
