About the Course
Hold a Furzie needle-felting party in your own home or venue!
Everyone loves needle-felting and anyone can do it. You don't need to be artistic or crafty and there is no glue or sewing involved. On the Furzie website you will see a gallery of student makes from the courses.
The price varies slightly according to, well ... variables(!) But we try to keep the per person rate similar to the course price nationally.
You can choose: we can either loan your guests all the tools they need for the craft, or include them in the course fee, or they can purchase them at the end of the course if they want to continue needle-felting.
You can theme the party: for example, everyone could make the same animal: Hares, Dogs or Dragons!
To discuss or for further details please call or email.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
Wool of course! Plus all materials and tools required (needle-felting kits available for loan or to purchase)
I organised a felting workshop at my home in Derbyshire for a few friends and myself run by Michelle from Furzie. All of us we complete novices in the art and craft of needle felting.
We were totally inspired by the examples of Michelle's work...true masterpieces...none of us thought or believed that we'd end up with a completed articles. Michelle guided us through many techniques from making our wire aperture to shaping it with hand felted wool and putting on the finishing touches...we were all amazed at the end of the day.
We would highly recommend others to explore needle felting with Michelle. Thanks for a great day.
