Let the world go for a while and spend time on our farm in the Surrey Hills learning the art of flower arranging. In this sociable workshop you will learn about conditioning your flowers and foliage, watch the florist demonstrate the art of creating a natural, garden-style bouquet using seasonal, British-grown blooms. Learn about colour theory, composition and the beauty of using seasonal flowers. Then it will be your turn to create. You will be given your own florist’s selection bucket of blooms, and guided step-by-step on how to make your arrangement, echoing the season.
We can’t wait to welcome you!
What to expect
The small classes take place in the beautiful setting of our family farm nestled on the edge of Sheepleas nature reserve and at the foot of The Surrey Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The workspace is undercover in an open sided farm building, or weather dependant can be around the open fire in a small adjacent copse. Lunch is often cooked on the same fire and served there.
Most participants are beginners, although some may be returning to further practice their skills and gain more experience.
