This year the Festive bookbinding taster workshop is available every day from January right through to the December. Why not join us for a book craft taster day? Create a variety of your own festive small books using traditional bookbinding techniques, in this one-day workshop. So why not dip your fingers into bookbinding? Learn a little about the tools, materials and craft of bookbinding while making an attractive book to take home. Expanding on ideas of why we love books and their importance, you will be guided through the step-by-step process of bookbinding techniques. Working in an intimate group, you will have plenty of time with your teaching artist to develop your skills and learning, equipping you with the knowledge and ideas to continue your bookbinding journey.
What's included in the price?
Who is the workshop for? This workshop is for adults who are absolute beginners or ideal for someone looking to brush-up on their existing bookbinding skills. Do I need to bring anything? All materials and tools are provided for this course, but you are welcome to bring your own bookbinding kit if you have one. You may like to bring an apron to protect your clothes.
