In-person course

Half day workshop in lino, screenprinting, drypoint or collagraph.

About the Course

Explore your creativity in a relaxed and enjoyable workshop with Rachel at Danywern.
The studio is nestled on a hillside near Crickhowell with views over the black mountains, and a perfect location to block everything else out for a few hours!

In this half day workshop, you will have the choice of which printing style you would like to try, they are all very suited to both total beginners or the more experienced. You will be guided through the whole process beginning with a short demonstration, and instruction on the use of tools, how to get the best out of your designs and print your final pieces.

There are a variety of papers and fabrics for you to print on so you can experiment with different effects.

*** Due to recent events, the workshops will be limited in numbers for the time being, to individuals or couples. The studio is in a detached building and all equipment will be sterilised before the workshop, masks will be worn and distancing measures will be taken, so you feel safe while you work.

I leved every moment of this experience, from the drive up the land to the exquisite location, to putting the lid on my precious box of cards! Rachel was the best of teachers, drawing out hidden talents, and through her guidance I was astonished to find that I could draw. She made the process very easy to understand despite the fact that I had feared complexities - there were none. Id love to go back to do some printing on fabrics. Highly recommended!

Response from Rachel Cadman Craft Courses:

I am so glad you enjoyed your day, your cards are lovely! Best wishes R
