Christmas Video Kit 100% felt Mistletoe Sprig with Purr & Wag It, Tabletop Workshops
Description
The video kit version of my in person workshop. Please contact me if you're looking to make on a specific day. No previous experience is necessary to learn how to make a sprig of my covetable Everlasting Mistletoe. The step by step video will show you exactly how. You'll learn how to create the branches from floristry wire and 100% wool and cut the leaf shapes from the 100% wool felt provided. Then we'll attach the berries and leaves by hand stitching and add a final flourish with a piece of red organza ribbon. You should be able to complete a sprig within the session but you may need to finish adding some berries and leaves afterwards. The last of the pictures shows a massive bunch and not a sprig. You'll need to buy extra materials and cement what you've learned if you too want such a generous display. For whom? The process used is simple but you will need to use your fingers to tension the wool when creating the branches and if you're not use to hand sewing you may find this a little fiddly. If you have arthritis in your hands or a tremor you may find parts of the process challenging and it will likely take you a little longer to complete the project. But that's ok as I won't just disappear at the end of the workshop. You will always be very welcome to contact me regarding this or any other of my workshops. Preparation before the workshop: To maximise the workshop time you need to prepare your leaves beforehand. So please open your kit as soon as it arrives and follow the instruction sheet included. It takes up to 30 minutes. Pop them back in the kit for safekeeping once they're cut. Want some mistletoe but no time to make it or If you'd like to learn how to make the mistletoe from scratch, ie, by making your own flat felt and balls just drop me a line for pricing.
